Crazy Chuck E. Cheese Action

I used to love Chuck E. Cheese and Showbiz Pizza because I loved all of the video games there. Of course, my family would always go order a large pizza and invariably sit in front of the electronic gorilla/mouse depending on the restaurant. I always hated the songs they sang, but this one would be awesome.



I don't even like that song - I think the lyrics are ridiculous. Here's an even more ridiculous one featuring Shakira. Side note: My brother came up with alternate lyrics to this song that you'll never forget: "Oh baby when you talk like that, you make my p*ssy all wet." A bit crude? Yes. Hilarious? Yes. Sing them to yourselves while watching this video.



I'm not sure what it is about those videos - I'm pretty sure it's the memories mixed with the outrageous intro discussion mixed with bad singing mixed with a few margaritas - but they make me laugh.

Shaq Rapping Madness

If you have checked out the Internets or ESPN over the last 24 hours, you have probably seen this video which showed up sometime Monday morning. TMZ released a video of Shaq freestyle rapping a diss about Kobe, and since I love hip-hop, freestyling, and the Association, I'm pretty sure I need to post it.



That is nasty. It's too bad he doesn't go after Kobe more on that one because I'm pretty sure that would have made it better. That had to be one the of happiest moments of big guy's life. Well done. Of course, this isn't the first time, Shaq has done a "freestyle" diss either. Here's one of him taking on Vlade "The Godfather of Flopping" Divac.



At this point, you may be asking yourself, how did Shaq get so good at freestyle rapping? The answer? Practice. And also lots of attempts. You see, much like his free throws, Shaq only connects on about 50% of his freestyles. For instance, here's another bus freestyle from the Diesel.



And if you thought that was bad, just watch this clip from the critically acclaimed movie* Kazaam.



We genies! Of course, that's not really a freestyle. But it's still awesome a rap. Side note, iIf you really liked that, you can even watch it in Spanish!

Anyway, back to the original video - Shaq was pretty good, although I wish he sh*t all over Kobe again (MADTV warning). In any case, that had to be fun to see live, and you know some promoter somewhere is trying to setup a freestyle rap battle between Kobe and Shaq right now.

* Kazaam was actually not critically acclaimed. But it did have it's own underoos!

Real Life vs. My Life

Well, as I said on Monday, I just returned from Vegas. I've said before, I think Vegas is like Disneyland for adults - life just doesn't seem real there. That said, I think I live a lot of my life on the webernets and it turns out that isn't real either. Fortunately, my boy Vasquez sent me this video to sort things out.



I never watch/read Red vs. Blue but that video might force me to do so. Anyway, now that I know what's real and what's not, it's time to put it to the test. Here's a video, you tell me if you think it's real.



OK, so not only is that not real (was anything on 90210 really plausible?) but its a modified clip from the show. Still funny and ridiculous. You know what else is ridiculous? The guy singing in that video, David Silver Brian Austin Green (featuring bonus white rap music video!), is railing Megan Fox.

In any case, here's one more video - I'm more inclined to believe this is real except for the multiple angle things. Either way, it's always funny to see people get pissed and start overreacting - and this video has that.

Time for some White Rap

I spent the last few days in Las Vegas. I'll spare you the details but I ended up +$235so it went pretty well. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play any Casino War. That said, not playing war may have contributed to me being plus $235.

In any case, I figured I'd come back with what I'm best at: white rap.

In honor of the NBA Finals going on right now (more on that later this week), here's an awesome Converse featuring Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. There are 2 white guys in this commercial and it should remind you that the 80's were awesome.



Speaking of awkward, here's Dr. Dre's "Bitches Ain't Shit" sung a cappella. If you have never heard this song/haven't heard it for a long time I think you'll be blown away by the amount of swear words present.

I Can Satisfy You

And not in some creepy R. Kelly/P. Diddy way, but rather with some awesome videos.

That said, here's a guy that will satisfy you in a different way.



The #1 butt satisfier? That sounds like a crazy porn title that you could win. I'm gonna be honest, if I'm ever voted the #1 satisfier of anything, I'll probably celebrate like this.

Friday on the Road

Over the next 7 days I will be on the road for 6.5 of them. As such, I'm hoping to get some posts written, but you never know. In any case, to start off your Friday and finish off your week, here's a new music video from Flight of the Conchords - Ladies of the World. I enjoyed it.

Bizarro World Day

A majority of you probably didn't read comics growing up, but I did. I always felt one of the worst story lines was the "Bizarro" world people just because they didn't make any sense (that said the Bizarro Seinfeld story line was awesome). In any case, here's a video about Bizarro superheros. I'm not sure what it was, but this video made me laugh.



Oh yeah, it was the line "I'd grab her" - that definitely made me laugh. Anyway, speaking of Bizarro worlds, here's Snoop performing with Willie Nelson.

Wednesday = FAIL Day

Quick Skeet Thrower update. If you come to the site, you may notice a little change in the top left corner of my blog. Well, I've finally decided to make the jump to Twitter. I didn't really have any great reason to do it - other than to bitch about random people when I'm not at a computer - but I've finally got a decent idea:

There are times when I add items to my shared feed that I really want to comment on something or point out something specific in the article. Well, Twitter will allow me to do that. The nice thing about Twitter is that the messages are all less than 160 characters, so its not like there's a lot of extra stuff.

Anyway, today is FAIL day. First, we're going to see a failure at singing combined with a stalkerish video from some chick named Haven Nutt (who just happens to be the daughter of new Ole Miss coach, Houston Nutt) - you'd think with a last name like Nutt that you wouldn't be wanting to draw attention to yourself, but Nutt,Haven powers through and gives us this awesome/ridiculous video.

Dumb Song And Dance Edition

I feel like I owe you an explanation. I have been building my emergency bunker in case Kansas somehow defied odds and failed to choke. Which they did(?!?), and now, sadly, this will be my last post as I retreat to my bunker and pray to God to save me from the apocalypse.

Actually I was up visiting my new favorite NFL team and then I was at a wedding in Houston. I left my laptop with my wife, so I was computerless except for my phone which isn't quite a smart phone so my browsing is limited.

In any case, I'm coming back to with 2 ridiculous videos.

The first is some sort of ridiculous commercial for a laser synthesizer. Its bad enough at the start, but wait until it gets to the rock band part...



Brief side note, my wife has a synthesizer/keyboard thing and on the "DJ 2" setting you can make all kinds of crazy sex noises with the thing. They probably weren't intended to be sex noises, but they definitely sound like sex noises. I'm not sure if this keyboard has sex noises but I would recommend not buying it if it doesn't, because, I'm telling you, that's the best part of Shorty's keyboard. To be fair, I wouldn't really recommend buying this thing at all. You'd look like a douche while playing it.

Speaking of looking like a douche, here's a new dance "craze" (and I use quotations because if I haven't seen it in the club then its probably not really a craze), the Dança do Quadrado is a Brazilian thing (so its Portuguese - which slowed me down on the whole FreeTranslation front), and it means Dances of the Square in English. I'll say this - if you don't laugh while watching this, you either know this dance or hate midgets.



I think they are just making that up as they go. What dance involves being mounted by a midget while doing push-ups. I can't tell who I feel worse for, the people in that video or the kid from the beamz lazer music thing above that is about to attacked by that old man.

Friday Video Attack!

Sorry about the lack of posts this week. Turns out I've been really busy at work and Shorty is on spring break this week so I haven't gotten anything posted. I haven't even played video games...I just sit and watch TV and sleep at home.

Anyway, congrats to Laura for winning the last week's Skeet Thrower Draft in a tight battle at the top. Her draft of Paris Hilton, Ann Coulter, Rosie O'Donnell, and Dustin Diamond brought home the victory. So she can celebrate until next week.

I was planning on writing a BCS List this week, but the aforementioned lack of time has forced me to push it back. To make it up to you, here is a ridiculous video dump of stuff I saw throughout the week.

First is a trailer for The Fist Foot Way, a movie that looks awesomely ridiculous. It contains NSFW language (thanks to Laura for the link.



Here's an awesome video of an NBA player getting the cold shoulder from his teammates. (A little back story, in the NBA after a free-throw, miss or make it doesn't matter, his teammates give him a little dap. But Andrew Bogut, an NBA player, talked some shit about the rest of the American NBA players. So apparently his teammates said "F- you" and didn't high-five him here.) He decides to improvise which is funny.



I don't comment on political stuff here and so I usually avoid political videos, but this one is too good to pass up.



I don't care whether you like Hilary or not, that video should make you laugh. I think that guy broke into J-Lo's "Let's Get Loud" at one point there. Also, and maybe it's just me, that video is in no way going to make me want to vote for Hilary... While we're looking at awesome music, you may remember the Bulgarian Idol video from a few posts ago, well, here's another one you should enjoy.

NCAA Tourney Day: Music Spectacular

Well, it's NCAA tourney day and you should all be watching a lot of TV/internet video today. But if you get tired of hearing Billy Packer blab on, you might want to hear some other stuff in the background. As such, I've got a couple crazy music videos for you today.

The first is "One Gallon Axe" by White Gold. I had never heard this song or seen this video, but its kinda catchy and I laughed 10+ times due to either the lyrics or the costumes.



This video for some reason reminded me of The Darkness' video for "I Believe in a Thing Called Love," so here's that video.



To be honest, I'm not sure why I would think of The Darkness' video after seeing One Gallon Axe other than they both make me think WTF and laugh at the same time. Anyway, don't think I could have a music spectacular on NCAA Tourney Day without "One Shining Moment." So, here's last year's version.



Before I close the post, here's some last second tourney advice that I give out for free each year: Remember, Kansas always chokes. Quick, go change your bracket now. Keep this in mind when next Saturday (not this one though) you're looking at your bracket wondering how you had Kansas in the Final Four.

Attack of the 90's Pop Stars

I meant to post this yesterday, because it relates to SNL. This week's musical guest was Mariah Carey, performing her new song, Touch My Body (the video has typical Mariah PG-13 clothing at first, but it features Kenneth from 30 Rock so its worth a watch). Anyway, I saw this ridiculous video and saved it for yesterdays post...so derka. Anyway, here is someone on Bulgarian Idol singing Ms. Carey's "Ken Lee."



If you didn't pick it up, that chick is actually just jibba-jabbing Without You.

If you couldn't guess it from the title, Mariah isn't the only 90's pop musician I wanted to talk about today. Remember Cooking with Coolio? I finally got around to watching the next episode (there are 4ish now, I think). It made me laugh so I included it here. Exercise caution on the language.

More Tracker Foolishness/Awesomness

A few months ago, I showed you a ridiculous SUV jump that I wish I would have tried back when I had my Tracker. Well, here's a new jump that I'm glad I never tried.



I'm pretty sure that video is fake, but who knows - it is ludicrous that they would try that in a SUV. On the other hand, here is something that I know is real...and awesome. It's an old school music video with awesome graphics and production.

Steve Urkel Throwback Hip Hop

You may or may not remember, but back in the early 90's HIV was a big concern. Since I was not really old enough to understand it, it didn't really affect me until Magic Johnson picked it up. All of a sudden a lot of my favorite NBA players were preaching about abstinence and safe sex (ironically, what I know now is that most of them weren't practicing either of those concepts). Anyway, one of the promo things Magic put together was called Time Out: The Truth About HIV, AIDS, and You. This thing featured all kinds of early 90's stars such as Paula Abdul, Kirstie Alley, Luke Perry (best intro video ever), and Sinbad (I saw that movie...and I wish I would have picked Sinbad in last week's draft). But the only thing I really remember from this video is Jaleel "Steve Urkell/Sonic the Hedgehog" White's rap video about not having sex.



This came out in 1992, one year before Snoop's best cd, Doggystyle. He's still churning out records...what's happened to Jaleel? He could be a dance icon with his moves...


I suppose I could also call him Jaleel "Sonic the Hedgehog" White.

Paul Anka: Rock Swing Band

Do you know who Paul Anka is? I didn't until about 6 months ago. He's big time into swing/jazz and has performed with and covered tons of artists. Understand this though: when he covers songs - he covers them in a swing style. So, today, you don't really need to watch the videos as much as you need to listen to them (so you can have them in the background). Anyway, here's Anka's cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit.



He is actually ultra-serious about this which is kinda funny/kinda cool. Anyway, if you enjoyed that first song, I've got another couple videos and some links below.

Post #300: It's vs. Its....and Crazy Japanese Stuff

Simple math lesson to start the day. If you add up the post numbers on the side under the "Previously on the Skeet Thrower" section, what number to you get?

300! (For those of you reading this through a reader, you'll just have to trust me).

That's right its post #300, and it only took me around 290 or so to get the its versus it's thing squared away. For some reason I had those two mixed up. I'm not grammar crazy or anything, but that kinda stuff bothers me. I don't know.

Anyway, its the big 300, but I don't have any major site changes like #200 when I changed the layout and the style of posting. That said, I think I have something better coming - it will be here on Friday (I was going to try and time it so that it coincided with this post, but I decided to keep posting rather than have a bunch of empty days) - a new feature that will alter your Fridays forever...or whenever I post them. Also, I plan to start unveiling the 2K8 BCS lists, so be on the lookout for those.

Celebrating the 300th post is kinda like turning 24 - not really that big of a deal. So without any further ado, here's just a standard post, I guess.

You may or may not know, but spring training for baseball started last week. In honor of that, here's an awesome video from the 1986 LA Dodgers - as you can imagine, its ridiculous.



While we the crazy Dodgers/Bears were making those videos in the 80's, let's see what Japan does for baseball today.



Pretty weird, huh? Speaking of weird/funny, if you haven't seen Japan's version of "We Are The World," you need to watch this now.

This Is How Things Get Ruined

There's been a running theme in a lot of the things I've read on the intermist lately - funny things becoming not funny. I've talked about it here before and I don't really want to rehash it again (although I'll probably talk about it tomorrow a little more in depth to be honest, so ignore that last sentence), but I wanted to take a look at two hip-hop trends, one that is crashing and another that is still rolling strong.

To be honest, nothing seems to crush the life of a hip-hop trend quicker than white people picking it up - not necessarily white people that are tight with the streets, rather, upper-class, older white people.

Example A: Crank Dat - people still love to Superman Dat Ho, but I've heard it hasn't been played in the best clubs for a while now. This is why.



Funny? Absolutely. Will that kill any cred for that song? You betcha.

Example B: Ghost riding that whip. Turns out that this still hasn't caught on with upper-middle class white America (just imagine your rich boss opening the car door to his Lexus and breaking it down next to his car) and I don't see it really happening. Thus, ghost riding is still cool as evidenced by this video.



Ghost ride that DeLorean. Funny? Fo sho, but it still keeps its cred.

No Parking Kicks It For Reals, Yo

You know I have to keep you updated to any break throughs in the white rap game. Well, there's a new group out there called No Parking that is bringing you some new freestyles. Well, they aren't really freestyles considering you can tell that they are reading from a script, but they are recorded over what appears to be a web cam and uploaded onto YouTube - that's got to be something right?

I won't tell you much about them - you can figure it out from the video - but they seem young. Oh, and they're white (have I said that yet?). Also, I'm not sure how its a group because its only one dude. Anyway, without further ado, here is their first song "Crank Dat Louisville."



I don't understand why he's so quiet - I keep expecting his mom to just bust through the door and tell him to turn down that crazy music. Apparently homeboy decided that he needed some backup (and maybe someone to make the spitting noise), so he recruited some chick for his next video. Bonus - I guess now they can be a group now (by your power's combined.... Here's the second video, "Get Low, Detroit Lions."

Shakazoulou! Bring Yo A$$ to the Table!

A month ago (to the day actually) I showed you the David Wain series, Wainy Days. The video I posted was from YouTube, but the videos are actually from a site called My Damn Channel. I finally went back there to check out the site and was amazed by something I saw. To be honest, when I saw they had a "channel" just for Andy Milonakis, I almost left immediately, but then I saw a channel for Coolio. Its called Cookin' with Coolio and the first episode is Coolio Caprese Salad. I've embedded the video below but use some headphones for the swears.



Shakazoulou! I laughed multiple time during that video; although, I'm not sure whether it was just because Coolio was funny or whether I was remembering him from his Gangsta's Paradise and 1,2,3,4 (Sumpin' New) days. Its probably a mix of the two considering this is their ad for the channel.
