Do You Know Who David Wain Is?

Because I don't. But if you look at his IMDB page, first, you'll notice that he kinda looks like the Sklar brothers. Then, you'll see he's been all over the place in comedy - specifically with Comedy Central. Anyway, he apparently has a show called Wainy Days that I'm pretty sure is just on the internets on David Wain's blog. If you look at the list of people involved with the show you'll see a veritable list of VH1 "I Love The [Insert Decade Here]" all-stars people. In any case, I found this clip very funny (its got some swears in there, so exercise caution)...

Well, I'm a sucker for online tv shows (did I ever tell you about the Clark and Michael Show?) and now I'm gonna watch the rest of the episodes online (what else am I going to watch). Plus it seems like these guys are tight with Apatow/Rogen/etc. because those guys friends keep making cameos in these clips. That slutty chick from 40-year-old-virgin show up in the first episode here.

I really laughed at how he just randomly ran into someone on the sidewalk - I'm not sure why.

Thanks for this show, I had no idea. It's awesome. David Wain wrote Wet Hot American Summer (where you probably first saw the hot chick from 40YOV), which should make a lot of sense if you watch it and these clips. WHAS included a lot of the cast from The State which used to run back on MTV.

I cringe everytime I see Michael Ian Black on VH1 because he was a part of something so funny and he's lowered himself to VH1 shows. Maybe he just loves doing it. Maybe he's got a nasty crack habit he's trying to feed.

Anyways, I could ramble on like I did on my last comment on comedy here, but I'm not going to. But I'd like to add that anyone looking for more under appreciated comedy troupes should also check out Upright Citizens Brigade. They've got live theaters in LA and NYC, but you're not likely to see the original actors there, I don't think. They hosted 30 Rock and SNL there during the writer's strike. Apparently it was pretty awesome.

Links to what I was referring to.
30 Rock at UCB

SNL at UCB

I'd love it if you could dig up some video from these.

I'll look into that for you. I'm pretty sure that the 30 Rock episode is going to appear on NBC sometime (potentially this week since they are out of episodes).

The internet is going to kill TV. Paul Rudd is awesome. The End.

If you thought that video was funny, you will fucking love this WARNING its a college humor link and its got some language. This was the first thing I ever saw from Stella (the comedy group David, Michael and Michael are in) and I instantly loved it. I also loved the TV show but knew most of America would hate it. This proves how much comedic genius these guys have.
